Fifth in this field would have been a nice success. Sadly enough, it was downhill from there. Finished 14th out of 16. Particularly the third round was absolutely abismal (10 shots worse than the second worst team). This team is really hot or cold, usually within the same tournament. That is not likely to to lead to an NCAA regionals invitation.

Sadly, you hit the nail on the head.

 

Marzillo was the only player in the top ten for shoot over par and ended up tied for 3rd.  An even par round would have put him in second one stroke behind the winner.  A real missed opportunity.  Not overly impressed with Strake.
