Won Conference. Put Bench In

Now that we have won the conference out right, let's put in the bench. Next two games are easy wins, gives starters rest and gives bench experience.

Why take the foot of the gas?  UNT needs to win out in order to have the best chance of making the NCAA tournament.

No. Need to win for a chance at an at-large in case we don't win the conference tourney. Plus, we have to keep the starters in game form.

No.  We not only need to win, but also have very good games in order to help out our NET score as much as possible.

I don't mind dipping into the bench a little bit like we did VS USM, but not heavy minutes/starting.

The UTSA game should provide plenty of 2nd half minutes for the bench.   
UTEP is going to be a challenge.  They'll want to send their Seniors off on a high note in the final game of the season.

UTEP will be tough at home.  They took UAB down to the wire.

Hopefully we can play our bench some more against UTSA.  UTEP in El Paso will no doubt be a barn burner - we won't get an opportunity to rest the starters there.

Nutsak is the game for significant minutes for the reserves, but we want starters game sharp at utep and carry over to the tournament. We'll have several days off before our hame on the 11th to rest up.

My guess, is that Mac will play the remainder of the regular season games just like all the others.

Seven players as usual unless there is a giant lead with no chance of losing.  Four minutes to go and up 20, Mac might let deep bench players on the court.

You don’t seem to know Coach Mac well if you think he is going to take his foot off the petal! Winning these games should be the only thing they are considered about right now

I'm glad McCasland is the coach and not some posters on here. He has said numerous times that the job is not finished and they need to keep working hard in preparation for the conference and NCAA tourneys. It will continue to be business as usual unless we blow the doors off our next few opponents which may very well be the case against UTSA
