I usually get pretty engrossed in wars and watching them on TV but for some reason this one just does not move the needle for me.  It seems like they should just give Russia the areas that they want a

Agree in many cases, but if you do not believe his actions against the US energy industry had immediate and financial impact against Americans you are naïve. We were at the point of being able to supply our own oil and gas needs, now we are not. His actions did impact this.

Be specific please.  Which actions did he take that affected todays US supply?  That will better help me answer your question.

It's the Alamo all over again.  It really brings tears to my eyes.  Volodymyr Zelenskyy is basically a modern day William Travis.  Putin is Santa Anna.

Stopping the Keystone pipeline, restrictions on new oil and natural gas leases on public lands, changes to regulatory requirements that impact operations and financing. Look. I am sure for every issues I put up you can find a "source" that will counter. I base most of my belief from knowing people who have worked in the oil industry for 30+ years. Talking to them and hearing what they believe.

Looks like between SWIFT and the Russian Central Bank cutoffs, the Ruble is taking a value dive and upsetting the civilian population. Some are doing bank withdrawals and exchanging for other currencies.

 

It would also seem Hungary won't allow weapons to Ukraine to pass through its borders.

Elderly women putting sunslower seeds in the pockets of Russian soldiers, telling them when they die on Ukraine soil, they will plant sunflowers, which is the national flower.  Guys asking Russian soldiers if their broken down tanks need a tow...back to Russia.  Farmers straight jacking Russian military vehicles with their TRACTORS.

 

How did the world miss the Ukrainians being the most gangtser people on the planet???

I still can't reason why anyone on the right or the left would give two shits what any of those birds have to say, like they're experts on literally anything other than blabbing to each other.

      Where do we go from here?

      NIL and the portal are killing off our already small fan base. Donors are like rats off a sinking ship after Luncheon-gate and the latest basketball hire. If Morris doesn’t have a big winning season he will be fired and we will be stuck with paying out another long term contract. The football and basketball rosters have become revolving doors. Seems like every day another disingenuous post from a player transferring out but claiming how how much he “appreciates” UNT. I truly tip my hat to you that can make lemonade out of rotten lemons but Incan’t myself stomach much more of this crap. I am officially done. I supported UNT athletics because I graduated from there and I felt like it was a good way to support my university as a whole. I do not believe that anymore. We are just a stepping stone for people like Jared and coaches to use us to move up the NCAA food chain. Until they fix this NIL and portal crap I am officially out. I refuse to fund this anymore with my money or my time. Time is too precious and there are endeavors that bring me much more joy and less pain. I wish all of you the best.

      We're already set at quarterback with Weigman. UNT on the otherhand only has Miami's 5th string qb and a guy who never started on varsity in high school. Give Iamaleava a few luncheons in the Super Pit and he should be all set.

      Are there NIL collectives in the Ivy League? They don't even allow athletic scholarships; but since this is all being forced by legal action, I imagine they have to allow NIL in some form.
