Listening to the radio show after the game and that was the 4th largest crowd at the Pit.  It was loud and rocking tonight.   I heard some people talking on the way out and it was there first game of the season they were commenting how fun it was at the game tonight.  Maybe we gain some extra fans out of this.   I am going to buy an extra ticket next year.

We had this (sort of) with the 2018 CBI and it did not stick. But we have a way different national profile now (in a good way).

Well, when I was leaving, he was upstairs talking to different fans and not in the LaTech locker room with the rest of his teammates. I even saw him sign a couple of autographs for Mean Green fans. I gave him some dap and told him "Good game my dude." and he was very appreciative. Probably not coming to Denton, but man what a force Abou and him would be.

I did not previously know this but the stadium commentators said McCasland coached him on the USA U-19 team. I looked it up and he was indeed a court coach for that u-19 team assisting with drills and scrimmages. I know it's been mentioned before that they have a great relationship. I have zero personal insight but I can't say I'd be shocked if he did come here.
