Facing a Wichita State team that seldom loses at home…North Texas wins

Down 17 against La Tech…North Texas wins

Multiple games where we don’t make clutch time free throws…North Texas wins

Sloppy game against a FAU team that had won 10 straight at home…North Texas wins

Thomas Bell (arguably the heart of this squad) plays poorly…North Texas wins

FOUR of the members of our 7-man rotation get in foul trouble…North Texas wins

Facing a UAB team that is 15-0 at home…North Texas wins

If you don’t understand yet that this is a generational high water period for North Texas sports and your ass needs to be at the pit this week…you’re just plain dumb

Let’s keep the water rising!

The fact that it could really be any one of 4-5 guys coming through in the clutch… and if one guy has an off night, the other guys step up even more…. Just a fun TEAM to watch.

Like last year, if Hamlet had the kind of game Bell had today, we lose.   But today, if it wasn’t Perry, Drez could’ve drained that shot too.

The fact UAB had ALL of the momentum down the final 4 minutes, but did something we are good at, missing free throws. Uncharacteristically missing free throws and our guys rode up to the occasion and won in front of the 2nd biggest crowd all year.

McCasland, is far and away, the best coach in UNT athletics history. You can argue with a tree.

WHAT A WIN AND LET’S WIN OUT!!

I'm curious to know Perry's FG percentage in the last four minutes of a tight (say less than eight points) game.  Seems like he hits 80-90%

Hank said last night on the broadcast that Tylor Perry is 9 of 10 on 3 pointers in the last 3 minutes of the first or second half this season. Pretty Amazing!

There will probably come a game where Perry misses the game tying/winning shot and we lose (hopefully not till next season)...

And we will all be shocked when it happens.  When the chips are down, he's as clutch as they come.  It's like the guy who did all those "Making the Case" videos on why this or that guy was the best player in NBA history (I believe there were eight he did them for) and for Larry Bird's one of his arguments was he seemingly always hit the big shot or made the big play at the end of the game....and on the rarest occasions when he didn't you couldn't believe it.
