UTEP has won 6 straight…won’t be a breeze on Monday.

I think both FAU and UTEP are gonna be tough in March.  Each has looked very good as of late.

Remaining schedule for UNT:

UTEP
@Rice
@FAU
@UAB
USM
LT
@UTSA
@UTEP

Is this a reach?: split w/UTEP, lose FAU, lose UAB, and Rice or LT bites us.

We need to prepare ourselves for some possible losses in there.  Like, could be as many as 3-4, and we are still a good team.

I think coming out of UAB/FAU/LT 1-2, and taking care of everyone else would be impressive.

Man I know we are conditioned to expect the worst as UNT fans, but the only time this team has not taken care of business was the Buffalo game.

I’m trying to change my thinking and give them the W against anyone in conference accept UAB and LaTech.

I think our D alone can beat everyone except those 2 teams. We have to be hitting our 3’s against them.

I'm a natural optimistic, or maybe I'm still too young and stupid, but I am thinking no more than 2. UAB and a wild card in there somewhere. LA Tech will be tough but I suspect a rockin' Pit to be there behind our team. I don't know if Greek Week is still a thing, but if there's one smart person involved in the process at all, I hope to see a few hundred more Greek students there as well -- even if it's the only game they make it to all season.

Unlike Seth, Grant has proven that his team will always be more prepared for the big games.

What has happened this year that points to NT not being ready to play anybody?

Last I looked NT was in first place.

This team or any other in CUSA is not capable of just blowing every other team away.

I would think NT will be favored in every coming game other than away at UAB and I like the odds of NT avenging their only league loss.

I can’t get past how thin the margin for error is. We were down 17 at LaTech. Even Mac would acknowledge that kind of comeback, with our kind of offense and our incredible coach, is not count-on-me scenario.

FAU is climbing into the conversation of quality with the top 3 in the west….and UTEP just beat them!

I think we are better than Rice, but our blowout of them is an illusion, disguising how good or bad the Owls really are. They have have bitten some really good teams.

another way to frame this: we could lose a handful of these and I worry that people think less of Mac and Co when, in fact, we should still be thought of as a very, very good team.

it’s a tough stretch.

Win every damn one of them.  The only game that really worries me is UAB because I feel like they are just a weird match up for us.  The rest?  If we play our game, I expect to win them all.

Realistically, we lose 2 more games this year. Don’t know who we lose to, but finishing with 1-3 losses in conference is REALLY good by the way.

This team, and now they are playing, can definitely win out but that’ll be very difficult. Free Throws win games, and wellllllllll we haven’t been great at that.

New strategy: as soon as you feel some contact and you think you're about to get fouled, #PassItToPerry
