How crazy is it that coming in at number 9, we are closer to being number 3 than number 3 is to being number 2? Such a massive divide between the two "chosen" programs than the rest that it boarders on ridiculous. It's shameful, but really no different than what other states do to ensure that the flagship universitie(s) receive a massive competitive advantage over other state universities until the end of time.
There is no guaranteed formula that "x" NIL $ = "y" wins.
Plenty of NIL-aplenty programs had marginal or losing seasons.
Wisconsin 5-7, Mich St. 5-7, UCLA 5-7, Okla St. 3-9, OU 6-7, Kentucky 4-8, etc.
These Brands have a LOT of NIL to spend.
