I think we're underdogs by 2.5 points? Suppose it's a home-court advantage thing.

Have you seen our matchup history? You can add up the point totals from the last 3 years combined and the difference is about 2.5 points.

Unpopular opinion... I'm going to miss stadium broadcasts. It's always better than the half ass ESPN+ product

You're implying Stadium is going somewhere? I am not aware of that.  Or maybe you are referring to when we leave for the AAC, which means fewer or zero ESPN+ broadcasts anyways.  Without double checking, I imagine that is more ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU

I think a lot of you are going to be really disappointed with the ways ESPN manages to downgrade the AAC coverage when us and our peers join.

Yeah, I've definitely been thinking about that.  I remember how excited we were to leave Belt for CUSA, and know all too well how we feel about Judy and Co now.

Cautious optimism, though, because the AAC commish strikes me as a baller.

I dont expect ESPN's coverage to change to much, even with out Houston the AAC will be a good basketball conference, in better media markets, not to mention some good regional rivalries.

is that a hunting blind on campus in the background of the ticket picture?

You can go to Google Earth, navigate to their football stadium and see that this is the west overhang of the press box and guest suite facility.

Yes, it is. Tech uses marksmen to periodically cull out the less attractive students on campus. It seems to work well for them.

The same tactic was attempted at UTSA with disastrous results as enrollment quickly dropped by 97%.

I stand by my prediction. We will see. Would be shocked if there aren’t provisions in the contract for the purpose of addressing departing/addition of teams.
