attendance

I was looking at Saturday's games and we had the second highest attended game in CUSA.   Sad for the whole conference.  The MW has pretty good attendance compare to our conference.   Wish I knew what the difference was- they have dealt with COVID as well.    I watch a little of the UNM vs Fresno game last night and thought the crowd look slim at UNM.  ESPN shows they had about 8k in attendance but they have a big arena so it looked bad.  I wish our students would show up for the games we really need them.

Not sure how accurate the attendance figures are, but here is a look at the home attendance as reported at meangreensports.com.

Assuming a significant percentage of 2,400 that showed up to a game on 1/1 (they are diehard fans) also attended the game on 1/20 or 1/22, then school being in session is adding between an additional 1,000 to 1,300 +/- (students?) to home attendance.  Seems like we can do better than that.

The last 2 crowds were the best we’ve had this year.

It’s still well below what I want and should be, but it’ll get there. I would assume…
