Watched the replay of the UAB 83 - LA Tech 76 game from Saturday.  Amorie Archibald (27pts) and Kenneth Lofton Junior (24) went off but their defense is not great.

UAB's Jordan Walker went for 36 points.

I still think UAB is our biggest threat.  They pose more matchup problems.  Louisiana Tech can score a lot against an average defense (They love to push it and run and gun) but I think we can shut them down.  We will find out more about La Tech on Saturday.  Ruston is a tough place to win at but so was Diddle Arena.

Agree with you but I also think UAB was hot as heck from outside shooting in our game.  I mean for a long period of time they could not miss a shot.  Will be hard for them to keep that up.  But make no mistake UAB is a very good team.

La Tech had won 18 in a row at home before losing to UAB Saturday. I think we were the last team to beat them at home before that.

UAB isn’t a good matchup for us, if I’m being honest.

I was absolutely nothing to do with them in the tournament until the championship.

And Jelly Walker is by far the front runner for POTY, and Baby Shaq/Tylor Perry/Thomas Bell should be right behind…

I completely agree with you on all points.  Baby Shaq is impressive.  He can do almost anything.
