I actually like that we didn't have our best game last night.  It gives McCasland ammunition to get on them and coach them up.  I much prefer that than to come coasting into Ruston.  Can't wait for Saturday at 3pm.

According to Haslametrics.com , a very good site for stats that I could spend hours on, they had our last game against USM as the 3rd worst, efficiency wise, game of the year.

Still pissed we lost to Buffalo.

It was a tough loss for sure (especially with a decent lead late).  However I think it was a great lesson for a young team at the time still trying to find out who they are and the lesson on how to close out teams (especially good ones).  I bet it's been a sour taste in their mouth as well.  This is part of what the non-conference schedule is about so when you get into conference play you take what you learned and hopefully your better for it.

Boy, need to remember next time a look-a-like thread gets going for USM how much their commentator Larry Boyd looks and sounds like Woody Harrelson

Aka Woody Boyd
