We have a stadium thread, so why not an arena thread?

What bball venues have you witnessed the Mean Green play in person?  I'll start:

The Super Pit
Mitchell Center (USA arena, Sun Belt tourney)
Kiefer Lakefront Arena (UNO arena, Sun Belt tourney we played FIU/WKU)
Texas Hall (old UTA arena)

UTEP took me to some great places, too:

Don Haskins Center
Thomas & Mack Center (UNLV, 1998 WAC tourney to play SMU.  They had a great guard named Jeryl Sasser)
Moody Coliseum (SMU)
Daniel–Meyer Coliseum (TCU, since 2015 it is Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena)

The Pit

Super Pit

It is a lost cause by now but at least when I was at NTSU in the early 70s, you never heard the term "Snake Pit" used in common reference to the Men's Gym. I know the origin of term Snake Pit but the gym was never called that name. Besides, when the new arena came about, it was not named the "Super Snake Pit".

This is the best I could find but here is a copy of the DRC from 1973 making many references to "The Pit" including the article, "The Pit Hurts The Ears".

The noise was indeed deafening from start to finish. When you entered the Pit, you were given a metal clicker which was used each time our opponent went to the foul line.  It sounded like 10,000 crickets in there!

Bank OKZ Arena - Hot Springs

When did you go? I've been second guessing Mitchell Arena since I listed it, and Bank OKZ looks much more like what I remember.  But I'm combing over our schedule history and don't see that it didn't start hosting Sun Belt tournaments until 2009.

I think I've got everything correct as I originally listed it, but I swear I've stepped foot in Bank OKZ with the basketball band.  But it doesn't add up.  I can't imagine a scenario where we traveled there during a regular season game.

I attended the Sun Belt Tournament in 2012 and 2013 if I recall correctly.  It was JJ's last year and Benford's first.

I haven't travelled near as much for basketball and am starting to regret that.

I have not made as many roadies as I would like for hoops. Living in Burnet County, I am close to San Antonio so I have made 4+ games at the Convocation Center and obviously many games at the Super Pit over the years, but that's it.

As a lifelong Orlando Magic fan, I saw many games at the O-rena in Orlando. After moving to Texas,, I used to do the Texas Triangle every year, driving to the Toyota Center in Houston, AT&T Center in San Antonio and the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
