Relax guys, I'm sure Seth is as motivated Year 7 as he was Year 1 and is out on the trail recruiting his ass off for some stealth recruiting and definitely not out on a golf course somewhere just collecting a paycheck because this administration keeps giving him passes and extensions for below mediocre work.

We were all so happy to beat a UTSA team that had nothing to play for and benched their QB at halftime to prevent injury that we completely ignored who we actually beat. Victories over FIU (129) USM (123) Rice (110) UTEP (93) and an FCS school. Rankings are from Massey. We are doing exactly what Mac did, trying to find hidden gems in January because we consistently lost recruiting battle after recruiting battle during the season.

As we fill out 2/3rds of this class with guys who have few options left, let's all remember that just because Indiana or Vanderbilt once offered the kid 9 months ago, it doesn't mean we beat a P5 school for his commitment. Can't wait to see the 10 commits we get the last week of January sold to us as "steals".

People seemed skeptical a month ago when I questioned how badly this poor recruiting class could hurt us down the road and now we are 3 weeks from signing day without much promise on the horizon.

We can rightfully put a lot of blame on Seth, but what is Walerius doing?  He has set a standard of solid recruiting classes and completely dropped the ball this year, this is his job after all.

If another school's offer still stands at the moment they commit to us, I consider it a Mean Green battle win.

Get ready to start hearing a lot of, but..."coming out of high school he was a X star player with y offers". This assuming we go JUCO like I think we will, or seemingly have to, right?

If you ever are contemplating if the plug needs pulling, look at recruiting momentum. WB has him as his own now.

Still to early to judge. Ton of players available in the portal with more popping in every day. The portal is really introducing players to different schools and schools to players they never would of recruited. An example would be Utah State signing transfers out of Florida.

I agree, but offers go out to hundreds of players, so a P5 offer from last year that's no longer committable but was listed on their 247 page shouldn't get us excited.

Littrell is screwing over whoever takes over in 2023.

How in the world are so many of you so sure that the rest of the NT recruiting class is going to be disappointing?

Answer: you don't

You also should know that coaches or universities cannot talk about a recruit till signed.

Also just because recruits have not been announced, it does not mean that they don't exist.  Do you think the first group of recruits were all committed the day they were announced?

I am not defending Littrell, but some of you are just complaining because you are disappointed with the apparent decision to not terminate him.

They were playing for a perfect regular season and we spoiled it for them. They benched Frank Harris because we were already beating them (and him) like a drum and the game was out of reach.

No. People are complaining because as it sits this class is awful. Pair that with having 0 recruiting momentum.

Just a reminder, Roderick Brown committed and signed on February 5 last year. Tommy Bush committed in mid-May.

I’m not saying this will be a great class, I’m only saying it is too early to tell.

We didn’t notice rod brown until late January because poor recruiting and he was literally sitting in our back yard . And Tommy bush haven’t did anything yet
