This is definitely a change.  UNT's school has always offered a DO.  With this collaboration, UNT was also offering an MD.  It sounds like TCU just piggy-backed on UNT until they were able to take it on their own.

Regardless of what you think of the final outcome, we were taken advantage of.

Are you sure about that?    I don't think this ever happened.

$25 million gift for TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine

Wow, the UNT Health Science Center (HSC?)sure has distanced itself from affiliation with the University of North Texas.

It was at least formerly the North Texas Health Science Center.

Now, if that logo doesn't get your Mean Green Pride flowing then I don't know what will.

Yes, it sure appears that we've been bamboozled.

The recent job posting included the HSC in the job listing since we are now known as UNT World.

Welcome to the University of North Texas System, or UNT World as we like to call ourselves. UNT World includes the University of North Texas in Denton, the University of North Texas at Dallas and the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. We are the only university system based exclusively in the robust Dallas-Fort Worth region and we are committed to transforming lives and creating economic opportunity through education. We are growing with the DFW region, enrolling a record 47,000+ students across our system and awarding nearly 12,000 degrees each year.
