DENTON, Texas – North Texas student-athletes had a stellar fall semester in the classroom posting an overall 3.116 grade point average with 63 percent of its student-athletes registering a 3.0 GPA or higher.

 

Overall, 12 of UNT’s 14 teams recorded a GPA of 3.0 or better, with volleyball’s 3.612 GPA leading the way. An impressive 63 student-athletes finished the semester with a perfect 4.0 and were named to the President’s List, with 224 finishing above a 3.0.

 

With the strong fall 2021 semester, UNT has now completed five consecutive semesters with a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes above a 3.0.

 

Mean Green freshman student-athletes totaled a 3.022 GPA, while international student-athletes had a 3.268 GPA. Additionally, 15 UNT student-athletes graduated at the conclusion of the fall semester.

 

Other highlights include:

 

  • Men’s Golf – Five straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Men’s Cross Country – 11 straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Women’s Basketball – Four straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Women’s Cross Country – 11 straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Women’s Golf – Seven straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Women’s Soccer – 12 straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Softball – Six straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Women’s Swimming & Diving – 15 straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Women’s Tennis – 20 straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Women’s Track – Seven straight 3.0 or better semesters
  • Volleyball – 21 straight 3.0 or better semesters

interesting the 2 biggest revenue sports are not there. 

Not everything is about W/L's, at least they are graduating players, but hoping both teams barely missed averaging a "B"

Yes.  Makes it seem as though this belongs in a different forum, unless @Coach Andy Mac is trying to call out the fact that Football is absent from the list.
