Was not impressed with hire, but her interview helped build some enthusiasm. 

I do wonder why there have been no announcements on the recruiting front.  Did NT lose the old staff recruits and got such a late start that no one has been signed?

Also seems strange that the official athletic site does not even have a roster posted.

Does anyone know how many years Porter was signed for? Nearing the end of Year 3, the team had a tough nonconference schedule but started AAC play 3-0 only to have a mega collapse, losing their eighth of ten tonight against FAU to fall to 8-16, 5-8.I have not heard of any major injuries.

Porter was a great player when she played, but I often find that great players make subpar coaches. I have not seen many great players that end up becoming good coaches. There are a few, but most don't.

This is also concerning, from a player's mom after the loss yesterday.

She had several more tweets that appear to be deleted, including one where she referred to Porter as "Cruella." But here was another one:
