I agree. McCasland had a lot of success at lower levels before UNT and of course won here for six seasons. Also 5 years as a Baylor assistant. MUCH more experience than Hodge.
Did you know McCasland has won 20+ games in all but one season as a head coach and that was the COVID year when he went 18-10. Impressive.
It's really crazy some are content with being good and don't expect their coach to take that next step to being great. I really don't care if this team finishes 24-6 if it means missing out on the big dance. That's what great teams play for. I think we could be a great team if we didn't have 5+ minute droughts every game.
Did you hear on the broadcast that Tech's starting picture was paid 1 million Nil money a year, supposedly the highest reported for a softball player.
Adds joy to beating Tech, although if she had pitched the whole game; there would probably have been different results. They per announcers wanted to save her for a more important game (A&M). I would say that didn't work out for them.
And Memphis wins by 12. I didn’t watch the game, did Memphis pour it on at the end? Did Rice go cold? Did Rice fouling at the end contribute to the wide margin?
