DFW is home to CUSA, AAC, Southland, and Lone Star Conference offices.

It hosts at least five (5) FBS Bowl games.

DFW will also host the FBS National Semifinal, the FCS National Championship, and the D-II National Championship games.

The D-II Championship game is this Saturday at 8pm in McKinney.  Who knew?

DFW is a fantastic area to live and work.  From my artist world, you are halfway between two of the most important markets (LA/Hollywood, and NYC) this hemisphere.

I imagine the same reasons also apply for other industries.

Also, we're pretty safe from any of the major threats in our natural world: hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc...

It's really neat.

It’s an amazing hub. East coast west coast Mexico beaches equal distance. International flights direct to Sydney Hong Kong Tokyo London Rio de Janeiro Paris and Middle East - college sports, bowl games, culture, a business grinding mentality. Miss the mountains and sea but there is much to appreciate about this pulse point on the world map.

You might want to rethink tornadoes.

Hey, welcome back NT80–we missed ya’!
Fort Worth & .....Taylor “Yellowstone” Sheridan who recently shot some of Paramount’s “1883” not from my Parker County abode on mega-acres previously owned by UNT alum Jerry Durant.  (Durant & Jim “Dallas Green”  Fincher were frat brothers at North Texas as I recall Jim once saying).
••• Yes, exciting times out here in the West O’ Plex, too.
