these are the kind of days that can resonate across the bigger media mouths and earn the conference enough respect for heavy at-large consideration.

need to follow through and get these two more Ws today.

I did.  I tried to tell some of our more reactionary fans after the Buffalo game that this team was young and needed to learn to close out big games.

Speaking of Buffalo, they unfortunately just fell to 2-9 Canisius 65-64. That loss could definitely come back to haunt us, but it's basketball, and to think you'll navigate your entire schedule without a hiccup in a game you should win is far fetched. Really like where we currently stand, CUSA is certainly a quality league, just fun to dream and still have an at large bid in play. Cheers to scoreboard watching, fun times for UNT hoops.

How many games has NT won because of good free throw shooting?

Perry back to form, with 23 points and great clutch play.  10 for 10 free throws , many when it most counted. 

Ousmane continues to improve.

Murray with 8 rebounds, that is just hustle.

Held Wichita State  to 18 second half points, outstanding.  

This team is much better early than could have been reasonably expected.

I couldn't believe how quickly this game turned. Watching the start of the second half, I was just hoping for a close finish. Then we just turned it on!

Yes.  Just got to Oklahoma city.  Stopped to eat in Bricktown......

My favorite was the air that went out if the crowd with every free throw t.p. made.  It was awesome!!!

It's been more than 12 hours... Where are my highlights?

Been paying attention to the season. Valiant effort vs KU. Let Miami come back on us and take the W. Took care OF UTA, etc. Pretty decent start to the season. 

However, Wichita State paid us to go up there? I find that strange and unnecessary. I found a write up by their local newspaper. We are not thought of highly, at all.

I was worried after watching the SHSU game.  We did not look good in that game.  Glad we bounced back just in time for CUSA play.

They bring a little school to beat and pay them.  We don't have a lot of respect from this team.   I hope Grant puts this article up for years to come when we play these guys.
