Miami isn't dropping 29 on us.

Nope.
They won't have enough time, unless they get a bunch of huge chunk-yardage/explosive plays.    NT's going to be running the ball a ton against them, and our DL is going to be living in their backfield.  They don't have dudes ours on MAC D-Lines.

Should be something like:
NT - 30
Miami,OH - 17

Eye roll for that "pick", not for you posting it.

Miami of Ohio a 3 point favorite. Vegas is more often right than wrong. Just saying that this should be a close game.

Generally agree but Vegas has been horrible about predicting the spread for North Texas this year.  We're too schizophrenic. 2nd half of season turn around seems to have thrown them for a loop.

The premise of the article is way off base. The writer is lazy and didn’t do his homework. The primary driver of the resurrected Red Box Bowl (Frisco Football Classic) was to insure Hawaii could host a bowl at 6-7. They were facing sending A team from the mainland to face Memphis in Honolulu because 6-7 Hawaii could only be placed after ever 6-6 team was placed. . They were also faced with saying a highly embarrassing  “you’re not worthy” to exactly one program - probably Miami, UNT or Liberty, an Independent 7-5 team without a conference bowl commitment. Liberty quickly sealed some kind of deal with the Lending Tree Bowl to avoid being the team left out.  The NCAA was also faced with a technicality involving both Miami and  WVU. LIU, both of those teams’  FCS wins - did not provide the minimum number of football scholarships to be considered an valid automatic FCS victory. According to the rules, the NCAA would have had to drop both teams to the bottom of 6-6 list, meaning WVU, as a Power 5 team, would be the # 82 placement and Miami would be on the outside looking in. Re-certifiying what had been the canceled Red Box Bowl and playing it as the Frisco Football Classic proved to be a win-win for everyone. Let’s play football!

can’t be mad though, the writer probably had to write about 40 other bowl predictions in the past 2 days

Nope, it’s lazy reporting and a common occurrence.
