I want to buy through unt but they make it hard to get a lot of seats together. We have lots of season tickets holders and lots of casual fans who’d like to sit together and it’s way easier through one of the other ticket websites.

They know the visitor's side will be sold out with UNT fans.  Since the TV cameras point that way, it will look better for ESPN.  No one wants to tune it to see an empty stadium with a sprinkling of Miami fans.  We all know we're the real home team anyways - GMG

Yep -- IIRC we were the "visiting" team in the Heart of Dallas bowl as well.

Did this for smu. Loved going to the gate and waiting in line to pick up the actual tickets and paying more for seats that others got through Ticketmaster. It’s always a hassle buying through unt and never beneficial to me. I get it helps the school but I’d rather donate 50 bucks to the mgsf until they can do a better job of accommodating me and my in game experience. This just goes for bowl games and close away games. Proud season ticket holder.
