Hard to believe that Cincy has earned a spot as the 1st G5 program in the college football playoff.

Also amazing to think that UNT will join the AAC which now will boast the first ever G5 playoff squad.

This is a very exciting time to be a part of North Texas athletics!

The Bearcats need to be in the playoffs, but with Bama stomping GA the playoff committee might still find a way to Cincinnati out.  Baylor did Cinci a huge favor.

If the committee took OSU over an undefeated Cincinnati, I would have been livid!  However, it does make more difficult for them to steal the opportunity away from the Bearcats.

This is the CFP committee I'll believe Cincy in thr playoff when I see it. 

But they do deserve their spot.

If Oklahoma State had won, I think Cincy would be out.  But now they are in.

This was the same thing I was thinking. I think with Stoops you have someone that will stick around as long as he needs to and help any way that needs to be but is willing to step aside once Cincinnati's season is over

The cynic in me says they will find a way to boot Cincy and put Ohio State or Notre Dame in. I really hope their conscience doesn’t allow them to go through with it.

Does Cincinnati’s strength of schedule hold up ? Or is that what the committee would use to bypass them ?

The Cincy kicking situation is atrocious.  Did I see they’ve missed more than they’ve made this season?  Yikes.  I hope a playoff victory doesn’t come down to a field goal.
