I will be disappointed with anything less than 3-1 non conference next year. With the talent on this team, 4-0 is attainable.

All depends on the QB…we can beat SMU/Memphis/UNLV with a good QB

anything less than 3/1 should be unacceptable, but as we saw this year beating 5 CUSA and an FCS team is all that matters to majority of the fans.

Rumor says So. Miss, ODU, & Marshall are gone in 2022 rather than 2023.  If true, how does this affect the schedule?  So. Miss is in the West.

They are gonna pay an exit fee?

S Miss is not the only problem Marshall was our crossover game with FIU in this two year rotation, so we could pick up maybe NMSU to take S Miss, but I bet they give us Liberty for Marshall.

As long as we don’t kill our momentum by making a premature change to start an unnecessary rebuild, I have the same expectations.

Assuming this isn't true, my thoughts are that CUSA leaves the crossover games the same for a third year.

It will be interesting to see. I don't think we will fight it much if they try to do something crazy for one year either.

Assuming they would still keep the divsional format for 11 teams, that'd give us five intradivision games and three against the East. Only one East game (FIU) could remain the same.

C-USA would probably just rescramble all of the sites and opponents if that were to happen. UNT had to play at Rice two years in a row from 2016 to 2017 when UAB returned to the fold (although this also helped us not have to play all three Texas conference teams at home or on the road in a season).

My guess is that we would have to play one of our division opponents on the road for the second straight season and another at home for the second straight season. Then as others have pointed out, we should fare pretty well in nonconference. If you had to pick three East Division teams to play based on this year's record, you would hope for FIU again and departing FAU and Charlotte.
