You're a long-time North Texas fan if you're still nervous at this point.

LOL.  Not nervous.  But, not happy about giving up garbage points.

Not at all ... should have stuck them  at 3.

Nice throw, Marburger. Come play for North Texas. All UTSA has to offer you is breakfast taquitos.

I feel like I might sign up for that

All he was saying was we are playing better ball than the first half of the season and could probably flip some of those early losses.

And?  You are what you are. If your 4-5 Star QB was out due to injury and several other 4 star prospects were out you were expecting to contribute “flipping” those game against GOOD opponents should be taken into consideration.   And again this is following 2 losing seasons.  So all the allowances,  should’ve, could’ve and would’ve are completely irrelevant.  The SL Mean Green trophy case is still empty.  No one is demanding 9 or 10 win seasons every year but 3 seasons without a winning season (at least +2 on the win side when you play a FCS team) is unacceptable.

Love the game, Seth did a really good job of digging out of this hole HE CREATED.  That may earn him the opportunity to finish his contract, and get a new one if they do BETTER next year.   I am fine with that.

UTSAhad a super easy schedule. UNT gave away the early part of the schedule by giving the transfer QB a shot. We could have been undefeated going in to this game if we had left Aune in at QB and focused on running game all year.

Should have put backups in earlier today to get them experience. This is a good example of why AAC should have just stuck with inviting 1 or maybe 2 Texas schools.  UTSA was a reach that the AAC will regret for years to come.  Oh well.

And NOTHING.  You're trying to make this a discussion about extending SL's contract.  I didn't get that vibe from his post.  Just rooting for a coach that many of us want to do well.

And, yes, we are what we are.  A 6-6 team on a 5 game winning streak.  If we get a blowout bowl win, I am absolutely on board with SL in 2022.  In 2022 we evaluate and make a contract decision then.

At the time of the invites, 1 or 2 Texas teams would have left UNT out.  I'll put up with the meepers in order to move up.
