DooM 3 is probably my most anticipated game, and it finally went gold. Going gold means that it was shipped to be mass produced, it will hit stores on AUGUST 3rd for PC!!!!

Will do... its looking to be one of the best games in a long time. It defintely has the best graphics I have EVER saw. Official release is Aug. 5th, but most stores will get it on the 3rd.

hmm...Doom 3 should be good, but i hope it offers more than heaps of gore. i do admit, it's an incredibly pretty game.

beware, though PC owners, it's rumored to be a system hog, even on the newest CPU and GPU's.

but i'm a little biased to halflife 2...you can telekinetically lift things and drop them on people.

Too run Doom 3 pretty good you will need a 2ghz p4, 512mb ram, and a Radeon 9800 (Specs from PC GAMER). I should be fine... 2.8ghz p4, 512mb ram, Radeon 9800 Pro. BTW, the multiplayer will be broadband only. Doom3 is about gore and violence, this is DooM we are talking about

let's hope the rumors (and beta test results) were wrong. and they probably are.

i'll hold off on the PC upgrades for now.
