Give him the max we can afford for a one year stint as OC/QB coach. Between he and Bennett, we should do well enough next season for the whole lot to be hired away and everybody wins.

Seems like things worked well when he was here and he knows what is needed.  I think he’s a guy we should at least interview if the job is open.

Never been a head coach. Would he emphasize defense as well? Without a HC resume, I think he's as big a gamble as Seth was when he was hired. Remember, he benefited from Mason as well.  I'd love to have him back as OC/QB coach though.

Remember the weekly QB competitions he and John David Baker conducted?  We need to bring that back.  Our QB's have suffered ever since the two of them left.  Healthy, fun competition made the whole lot better.

I can't tell if people pushing for this are smu posers or just people who can't see past dudes who have already passed through these halls, or a mix of both. No successful college head coach experience: do not apply.

People can downvote me all they want but his offense has consistently ranked in the top percentile in FBS. He is the reason Mason Fine developed into what he did. He had repertoire here.

I think the same was said about Seth when he came here. I do like Graham Harrell, just not as the next head coach.

Something we agree on.

His star has kind of faded, as USC has  kind of fallen into tatters without a head coach etc. I wonder if it fell enough for him to consider taking the OC job at NT again. If SL keeps his job, he should at least call and inquire.
