Should we add Texas State to the AAC?
Not sure if visitors are allowed to vote but I voted Yes. Looking forward to seeing ya'll in San Marcos 9/19/2026. That'll be the weekend after we beat nUTSAck 🍻 -

UNLV was offered a "Boise" type deal with higher revenue than the other members to stay in the MWC. They may come to regret it. The PAC needs at least one more football member. I believe they will make another run at Memphi$ when they get more media deal info. I'm surprised the AAC hasn't floated a GOR agreement already with current members to keep them in-house. -

all true. The only thing SMU has going for them is they have unlimited funds....if they can buy enough talent and keep themselves relevant they may have a chance but it's probably too late.... UH is basically Cincy...they don't have unlimited funds -

Why do you think UT, OU, USC, UCLA, etc wanted out of their cozy P4 Conferences? They would have an easier shot at the CFP from those....but they know a bigger shift is coming... -

A retro Flying Worm basketball uniform would be cool! Yes, I remember it as a Drake head coach said after we beat his good team that coming to Denton and playing North Texas was like playing in a "snake pit" I think some students after that started throwing rubber snakes on the floor during games to intimidate opponents, lol. Here is the reference... "Before being named for Bahnsen in 2005, the gym was simply called the Men’s Gym. However, the “Snake Pit” caught on as a popular nickname. There are many rumors of its origin, but much of the credit of coining the name goes to former Drake University head coach Maury John, according to meangreensports.com. “This is the worst d--- place in the world to play basketball,” John said after a game against UNT. “This place is a snake pit.” The name caught on quick.
