This team showed it has talent, talent we haven't seen on defense around here since Seth got here.  RBs are stacked, OLINE starting to improve. If we had an avg qb we'd probably be looking at a show down for western conference Champs against utsa. We had smu on the ropes physically, just couldn't score. Whoever the next coach is, they better get a legitimate qb in here and things will look much better.

And we have guys like Martin, Drummond, hell even Gilmore, on the bench getting 0 game reps

You also have to give a lot of credit to Bennett.     He has made a lot of in-game adjustments that have worked after struggling early in the games (despite yesterdays 98 YD drive).     He is the first DC that we have had in a long time where I have seen that.

Not since Skladany to be honest... i thought Ekeler was gonna be that but we went the Reffett route.

Drummond is a redshirt. If we could ever blow out a team, he probably would get some live action playtime.
The other’s, if they can’t run the offense in practice, what makes you think that they can do it during a game???

The “best” QB is out there. He is just below average.

Then that is on SL for not recruiting a competent QB.

Your right.
It is so easy to change a good QB’s mind about going to another program and come play for UNT.
The list of quality QB’s that Seth has turned away is so long.
Changing a culture unfortunately takes a long time. Every program wants an above average QB. Just like us.

And here we are, in exactly the same point as last week. This team has talent. It would not take a lot to turn it around. With even average FBS QB play it would be a contender, nevermind a good one... problem is...

...with SL in charge, how confident are you that the QB situation will be average or better next season? There are no more signs pointing that direction than there were last week. And I don't think I am the only one who couldn't see any signs pointing that direction last week.
