Was able to go back and watch the youtube broadcast (below). Lots to clean up but a lot to be encourage by as the new squad finds their footing. In addition to Perry, was really excited by Abou. According to the roster's as listed on MeanGreenSports, he's down 20lbs from 250 to 230 and it shows. Looks like he worked his tail off in the offseason and seems to approach things offensively with more confidence and assertiveness.

The single most important thing I saw last night is that JJ Murray attacked on the offensive end of the floor.

Last season he was a good defender but deferred to everyone else on offense.   This made him no threat and defenses could help off of him.  If he’s gonna be a starter this season, I am very pleased to see that he will look to help with the scoring.

Not a lot, if any, crowd shots during the game, but it appeared to be a pretty good crowd for an opener against a small school out of OK.  The box score shows 3758 in attendance.  Was that accurate?

Is the Round of 32 banner a thing other schools do? Seems odd.

Most schools put up some kind of banner for an NCAA Appearance.  I think it's cool that ours specifies that we got a win!

Here is a shot of UTEP's banners

I think generally schools put up banners for NCAA Tournament, Sweet 16, Final Four, National Champion, without necessarily notating Round of 32 or Elite 8.  But I agree with greenminer, we won a game let's say so.
