Our marketing department is a disaster.  I like the hoodie, but we haven't been North Texas State for 30+ years, have fought being called NTSU by lazy journalist since the name change, and then we trot this out?  Ridiculous.

Agreed.  On a personal level I think the hoodie is awesome, but I’d never wear it because some people think that’s still our name.  It’s irritated me for years, so I don’t want to fuel the fire.

I love the hoodie as well, but between this, the constant wearing of the throwback jerseys and the throwback helmets becoming an almost constant it doesn't solidify our brand.  I would prefer two helmets, the one we wore last week and a green version with white wings, only with a green jersey and a white jersey, black used as an accent color, and a throwback game once a year with the flying worm logo, not the old NT.  Just my HO.
