UTSA looks to be a very solid team in all areas. UTEP seems to have flashes and then something goes wrong. Not sure if it's them, or how good UTSA is.

Not surprised. El Pasoans show up when UTEP is good. Tbf, not many other shows in town but they love UTEP. I remember going to games back when UTEP was in the top 25 and the Sun Bowl would sellout

There are 15 teams definitively better than UTSA.  But I don’t think there are 25.  Any G5 team in the rankings besides maybe Cincinnati probably have combined opponents records similar to UTSA.  I think we tend to forget how bad the bottom half of FBS Football is.  🤷🏽‍♂️

This is pretty much what the announcers for the UTEP/UTSA game were saying.

“Make them throw something besides the slant” was said a few times.
