You sense a change in the winds, as if momentum is starting to shift behind Seth.

Could it be that Littrell has blossomed late in his career at UNT?  What if he leads us to victory for the rest of the games?  How should we handle this sensitive situation?

I don't sense a change in the winds. UNT won last two games. Two games they should have won. Winning is not easy for this team lead by SL. Anybody who watches this team should should be able to see that easily.

By all means if you want to continue supporting a staff that never seems to beat good teams go ahead. Why can some fans not comprehend that you can support North Texas and not be satisfied with what is happening in football. So yes, do we want North Texas to do well? Absolutely. It does not mean we have to act like we are close to being good.  If you don't want to acknowledge that we are irrelevant with no indication we will ever get better under Seth then go ahead.

Paranoia strikes deep.

Into your mind it will creep.

Here is the deal, we’ve been decimated by injuries and have been forced to throw some real youngsters into the heat of battle, even moving receivers to defensive back at times. The record looks bad, sure, but we are starting to show more discipline and that is a sign that these freshman are maturing.

And about our record, on the surface it looks bad but if you look deeper, we have one loss to a bad team. That was to 2-7 LaTech where we spotted them 21 points before Seth yanked Ruder and we almost came back to win (ultimately losing 24-17). Our second worst loss was to a 4-5 SEC school in Mizzou. The other 4 teams that beat us are all currently bowl eligible with a combined record of 26-11. We aren’t as bad as we seem. Let’s see how the rest of this season shakes out.

When do we get to start beating good teams? Year 10?

Well we are in year 1 of our first bona fide DC but our qb coach is a joke. If we could pick up a bona fide OC/qb coach like Harrell again and have zero or minimal injuries, we could win conference next season under Littrell, I really believe that.

Bodie Reeder and Clint Bowen were epic disasters for Seth and have delayed his advancement tremendously. He can win here but it just depends on the circumstances upcoming. I do not know if another coach that we’d be willing and able to hire could come in and have a better record that Seth could with the roster he is building.

The TSA Agent at DFW made fun of the UNT football team as I was going through security to get on the flight to Mobile.

That hurt.

Reeder and Bowen were epic disasters hired by SL. He will have trouble winning if he can’t hire good coaches.

He’s had more hits than misses, the hits just get hired to P5 programs.
