No way GH goes to Ga S.  That is a drop. Hell, he could come back to UNT as an OC and make more money. He may end up in Lubbock or Austin in some capacity. He has Texas chops at the HS level with his dads legacy and brother coaching.

Very eloquently stated. That's kind of what I was hinting at for all the people that had replied recently that he could never come back to North Texas as an OC.

I wonder if Ga Southern fans were called stupid for asking "I wonder if Clay Helton would come here?"

If Ga Southern can get Clay Helton....we can get any of the coaches that are out there.

This is also an example of what happens when you cut your coach loose early and are doing a coaching search when everyone else is still playing. Would he still be available at the end of the football season?

 

Ga Sothern's Athletic budget is $29M. I think people will be pleasantly surprised -at the level and quality of coaches that are interested an opportunity at UNT
