Announcers pointing out the large number of transfers on both teams. We have to find a way to get in on better transfers if we want to be more competitive.

Watching Houston I completely agree with Wren's references - This is a program we should study and try and emulate.

When you have a dude bankrolling UH’s athletics almost by himself, it’s kinda hard to emulate what they’re doing.   I mean, GBR is a heavy hitter, no doubt, but he’s not quite on Fertitta’s level.

GBR needs some mafia connections to get there.

3,500 hundred alumni  at $500.00 a year would be a nice start. Maybe $1,000 a year? GMG

Tell me about this Houston heavy hitter. Have not read anything about him outside this board.

I don't know what the official attendance was...but the stands looked surprisingly empty in some of the crowd shots and those shots were between the 30 yard lines. What's up with that?

Announced attendance was 25,000 or so. You think a 6-1 north Texas team playing a 7-0 ranked team would do better than that? I’d say so.

The casual fans went to the UNT-Rice game instead and of course the Astros were playing in the World Series.
