OU is still the team to beat, and there are a lot of non ranked teams with high ratings. I can't wait to play a dynasty and see how things shake out.

My question is why is our D rated lower than our O?  Is this going by 2003 rosters or 2004?

Because we lost all our starting LBs and Brandon Kennedy(who was rated 95 in last years edition). Plus, Cobbs will be rated at least a 88, and more likely 90+. That along with returning almost every offensive starter from last season, the offense is more highly rated.

The good thing about it is that it's your own memory card and your own rosters, edit as you see fit.

I usually edit a ton of ratings. Things change so much from how the pre-season prognostications see it. Just think of Patrick Cobbs ratings last year, and the year he ended up having. When Maurice Clarett had his outstanding year, he was the third best back according to the game. Plus there are players who are overrated because of hype (Tommie Harris last year). I try to keep my rosters as realistic as possible all season. Of course in our tournament, we will use default rosters, but that is the only fair way to do it.

All B rankings...I like that. In 2004, it was mostly B's and a few C's. In 2003...well, it was mostly C's.

I'm not so sure about Baylor's rankings, though. However, I'm sure the Baylor that'll face the Mean Green won't be the same as the Baylor that got trampled on last year.

I still see a big win for UNT, just not by such a big margin. But then, I didn't see that big of a margin last season, either.

Two days until NCAA 2005 arrives...

I have an exercise physiology exam (that will be very tough) on Wednesday, so I have to ration the NCAA for the first couple of days.

I know we all will run a dynasty (or two) with North Texas, but once that runs its course, what teams will you run with and why do you choose them?

Last year I did a long dynasty with Wake Forest, because I like their helmets, and I think I will go with them again because they have a redshirt FR QB that set all kinds of passing records in high school. The ACC will be tougher to rise up in though.

I have also thought about UAB and FIU, but we will see.

I ran a lot of Texas schools last year, like UTEP, Houston, and Texas Southern. It's fun to build those teams up and have them replace a$m or someone like that in the Big 12.

That reminds me, a Prairie View A&M dyansty would be pretty tough to pull off. I think I would like to try one with them.

It wouldn't have been too tough last year or the year before, but everyone is saying that there are only 30-35 Blue chippers a year now, which will be MUCH more realistic and make it a lot harder to get top athletes.
