Actual marching!  I thought it was good too.

Surprising thing was that we actually saw the band, 'cause the game was actually entertaining at that point.

Does anyone know where the green brigade stands in terms of the AAC bands?  I know SMUt only has like a high school band but not as sure as the rest of them.

*Middle School, and I think the GB is probably on top in pretty much any conference

I was at the 1968 Astro-Bluebonnet game that featured SMU vs OU & the Mustang Band knocked it out of the Astrodome that night. Irving Dreiboldt  was their Band Director for years.

Like Dr. Smatresk recently said our 2 universities do have totally different missions, so I’d say both marching bands would (somewhat) fit the same criteria?
Here is some of their marching band at Apogee in recent times.
••• If not for Covid the GB would have been at GFord back in September. They can be quite the pep squad.

Gotta stay through halftime. A quality product should be seen and appreciated.

The band has been good this year.  But can we have the flag core performers removed?  They are horrible. In a way that is embarrassing. There is a section when they are out there improvising.  If it wasn't us I would find it hilarious like the cannon the UTSA ran out there that one year.

I believe they rank as "Best Band in the Land".   Meaning they are easily better than all other AAC bands.

Back-to-back awesome performances from the GB!  They're on a roll!
