The TV timeouts seemed excessively long Saturday, but surely Seth has better things to do than walk over and complain to the TV timeout signal guy on the sideline like he did in the fourth quarter.

There is a good chance of no exit fee to CUSA. Fees and payouts are spread out and financed.

There may be an even better chance that there is no CUSA.  It could very well be that only two or three teams are left without a new conference seat; not enough to make a conference.

Can we all just cut through the BS involved with this disastrous season and start talking about who our next hire needs to be? Not will be because we won't know that till the end of the season.  I mean, when the eyes of the nation our looking amongst us after the significant American addition, we spit the bit and look like one of the worst programs in FBS.

Double negatives are a bit confusing. What is it you are trying to say?

There is no chance at all that we won’t have to pay an exit fee.

Really is crystal clear.

Seems like the board has done a lot of talking about NT head coaching position.

You really believe it is in the best interest of NT, to publicize the search for a new head coach during the season?

Than NT would really look like one of the worst ran football programs in the FBS.

If you listen to the podcast with Brett McMurphy it seems there is a chance of no exit fees. If CUSA folds, the is no longer a conference to pay.

Bingo - There is none

There will always be a fee. CUSA is the lowest level of the G5 conferences. Barely above FCS conferences.
The remaining schools will add FCS programs to stay and will get their exit fees from the 6 schools.
Don’t kid yourself we aren’t paying an exit fee.

That is wrong. All monies must be accounted for.

It seems there is a precedent with the SWC.  Evidently the schools that left to join the Big 12 didn’t pay exit fees because there was no SWC to pay them to.

I don’t know the validity of this, I’m just going by what McMurphy said.
