SMU Mascot

It has been confirmed that immediately after the announcement of North Texas acceptance into the AAC that the SMU pony mascot had a heart attack and died. The University announced that the pony would be replaced with a more appropriate member of the horse family that represents the attitude of its staff and students, an Ass. Among names not being considered for the new mascot was EPPY.

Wouldn't get too attached gents.  If what I heard last night is to be believed (and I genuinely trust the source) there might be one season of SMU and UNT in the AAC.
