please forward that to SL and WB for their reading enjoyment.  Meanwhile we are on the doorstep of the bottom ten.  SL needs to give some money back.

Still think Traylor will be at UH, SMU, or somewhere like that very soon. I foresee UH and Tech dumping their dead beat coaches and Dykes will be a big player for Tech. I’d see UH going hard for Traylor…

I was in Sandestin for the Sun Belt meetings just before TXST and UTSA to WAC was officially announced but everyone was certain it was happening.

I’m visiting with Wright Waters later in the day after the presidents meet.

I ask if there were any surprises.

He said Yes, Dr. Rawlins had told me that during new business he intended to put UTSA forward for admission. New business came and went and he said nothing.

Would be interesting to see how things might have gone had he spoken up.

No. I’ve got a flight in the morning. Can’t make the game, drive two hours home and not worry about oversleeping.

No they're not. Some writer just re-ranked teams from 1-130. In the two official polls that there are.......UTSA is receiving votes.....but are not in the top 25.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/rankings

They're having a good start to their season. But they aren't ranked in the top 25.

They’re not in the Top 25?😱  Probably should be near it.

I like the fact that the pollsters are not waiting for startups to prove themselves for the next 25 years before giving them a poll vote consideration.  That’s good for all of us.

Wku has played good teams, unlike utsa. pretty competitive in those games, and it’s in Bowling Green

Yep.   After jumping up and biting Illinois & Memphis earlier, UTSA struggled at home with a very bad UNLV team last weekend.  Very unexpected.

I think Zappe shines tomorrow.    Dude is the #5 passer in the nation, with a 73% completion rate!
WKU just needs to keep McCormick in check (easier said than done, I know), and they should win.
