The Lakers have offered Coach K their HC job. This would be a union of the evil axis of basketball not seen since the Lakers signed Karl Malone last year.

Coach K, Kobe, Karl Malone, and hearing about every little thing that happens to them on ESPN...they would be the most despised pro team of all time.

Think of everyone who hates Duke, and everyone who hates the Lakers, throw in the Malone haters, and that is most of the North American population.

ESPN Radio just said that the Lakers are looking to make Coach K the highest paid coach in all of professional sports.

I really hope this doesn't happen - since I like Coach K. Plus, he belongs in the college game.

Yeah, it's like Captain Planet, but it's basketball instead of environmental matters, and they would be evil unlike Captain Planet, who is a true hero of good.

Eh, Coach K going to the Lakers would be more like a Jedi being seduced by the darkside.

It really saddens me that he'll probably leave. Some coaches just belong in the college game. I would never accept Knight or Smith in the NBA. It's going to be hard seeing Coach K there.
