They were honored in 2019 or 2018 I think for the bowl team. He showed up and was classy about it.

He's a good guy, so it didn't surprise me to see him be that way when he came back here...and it helps to get $2.1 million dollars to go away--that makes you be real nice in a lot of ways

I do remember that now. He deserved the ovation for getting the bowl win. Everything after that was pretty miserable though.

Where did McCarney sit last time he was at Apogee ?  I’m a bit surprised there wasn’t more made of his being back.

Can we also admit these are probably the worst jerseys donned by UNT since maybe forever? The helmets look like toy helmets you would get for a Halloween costume.
