Do we stand behind Littrell?

I’m very torn.  On the one hand I feel like we have sorta hit the point me and my first wife hit with the good ole “irreconcilable differences” or whatever but on the other hand my mean green heart is saying I gotta support the guy we hired.  Anyone else feeling this way too?

He is 8-24 against teams at or above .500, nah we are WAY past that. 

Be cordial and respect his humanity while being critical of his job performance? Yes. Coddle him and his staff and pretend everything is fine in the meantime? No.

So above my comment of the trophies SL led Mean Green Teams have won.  He is 0-2 in bowl games his team actually earned a spot in with winning records and 0-2 in “participation ribbon” bowls.  If you squint  real hard you can see why we should keep in the picture above my comment.

Some of us saw the last FBS ranked team to come to Denton & the last ranked Mean Green FBS team.  That was in the mid 1970’s.  We are not being coached now to reach those high, lofty goals. I don’t know what happened.  We arguably have the best venues in the G5 with what’s in the Mean Green Village & across I/35E with the fabulous Super Pit.

CUSA posters from their respective fan forums have commented on what North Texas has with our top shelf venues & our financial resources.  Many of their comments themes are:  With what UNT has (along with location) just what’s the hold-up in Denton? 

I guess that’s my answer.
