Thank goodness for the basketball team because football has been hard to take the last few years.  I think this might be a bit of rebuilding year for the team but I have faith in coach Mac and his players.  Basketball season can't get here soon enough.

Yes, once again; fans are now waiting for bb season to start and football to end.

I am not sure that NT will not be good once again.

WKU is the big favorite as always.  WKU either because of reputation or some shady tactics is always the recruiting leader.   The hiring of their big-time star Brassey's guardian for example, not illegal but in a gray area.

NT pretty far down in the rankings, which is appropriate with only 2 starters returning.

Unlikely that NT has another anyone close to Hamlet's ability, but should be a lot deeper.   If Tyler Perry is as good as he seems, I think NT is destined for another good season.

WKU is not the big favorite this year, UAB has been the only team in the "early bracketology" and other polls. WKU, La Tech, and NT will be battling for the top as well. I would like to see what rankings you are looking at though

Me, too.  I think I've commingled recruiting and season result projections.  UAB appears to be the consensus choice.

WKU is way ahead of others in recruiting per several sites.   I have not seen any sites that have projected NT in top three team finishers in CUSA.
