“We came a long way [from last season],” sophomore linebacker Kevin Wood said. “Obviously, last year we didn’t play so well. Seeing how much we’ve grown defensively, this is a really good team and we held them to seven points in the first half. If we can bring it all together and play like that for four quarters, I feel like we’ll be really successful this year.”

“It’s a mentality in the red zone,” sophomore quarterback Jace Ruder said. “The field is condensed, it’s more people in a smaller space. What it comes down to is just mentality and being determined that you’re going to get in the end zone. That’s on us. We’ll be in the film room tomorrow working on that and figuring out what we can do better to get that done in the score zone.”

Get it figured out, adjust, and #BeatUAB

Try scoring from further out rather than trying to do it with 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Unless your running it like we did against NWS. Stretch the defense and don't let the end zone become the 12th man.

Attack through the air. UAB is a solid run defense, when playing a reasonable team or course because UGA looked dominant, so Ruder needs to get things figured out
