On 9/11, the Murphy twins, 9 and 11, both are injured on the same play. It appeared one went down first, I think Grayson, after almost sacking Mordecai on a what turned into a long scoring play. Then Gabriel. Their limps off the field looked almost identical too.

To be clear, I am not projecting or even comparing the towers falling to this event. It was more the question of “Do twins really feel each other’s pain?”

I read somewhere it was likely cramps and both were back in later, gratefully.

The one where both fell looked like they collided into each other after nearly leveling Mordecai.
They go so hard, it brings a joy to me knowing they can disrupt the offense so fast and physical

the DLine played well and had pressure on Mordecai much of the game, but the center of the field coverage was horrible by the DBs and LB's way to many running uncovered burned them in the 2nd half.

We played man coverage for the majority of the game.  The drag route and slant are two of the toughest to cover at any level.  They took advantage of that in the second half when their OL finally gave Mordecai time.

good point, but after being burnt a few times, maybe PB could have shifted to a zone coverage? Have no idea, was frustrating watching and seeing receivers wide open in the middle all night long

It's pretty awesome we have to RS FR defensive ends who are damn good at rushing the passer already, we haven't had that in ages. However, I have a feeling they are as good as gone to the portal after this season if we don't at least make a bowl game. It's just the nature of the game these days and I think we will lose A LOT of players this offseason especially since so many from the 18/19 classes have already been passed up.

untcampbell, the real surreal moments were back in the 1970’s at Fouts Field when my (then) TWU girlfriend & I made sure we sat within hearing range of you because of your “very loud” comical game comments. 😎
