SD vs Kansas On ESPN?

ESPN is showing the game between South Dakota vs Kansas. However it does not come. Is there a reason for this?

He does not have much around him. This is a SD team that went 1-3 in the Spring. Has not been a strong showing.

I don’t think it’s Bean as much as it his supporting cast.  His coaches and teammates let him down.

He looks like a QB new to the offense and who only had a few weeks in the system. It doesn't help that he seems to have no weapons. When the lead back is averaging 1 yd per carry, that's really tough.

He may get better as the season goes on but nothing about his presence says he’s a P5 QB. I think he’s thrown three passes over ten yards. Can’t win with that.

He threw for 163, 2 TD, no INT’s

Had 53 yards rushing…the rest of the team had 30 total.  
 

Not winning any Heismans, but there is ZERO else going on with that offense.

Pretty bad that Bean had more talent around him at North Texas, then he does at Big 12 Kansas.    I know that Kansas is a FB graveyard.  But, they still have 3 times the North Texas athletic budget.  No excuses for them to struggle against FCS teams like they do.   I can only dream of North Texas having a $121k athletic budget.

Feel bad for Jason.  It's going to be a long year.  Enjoy this FCS win tonight, because there may not be another one this year.

If we ever committed to being a basketball school like KU does, would we be okay with being that bad as a football program?

Carson Camp had an up and down game...but he showed way more poise in the pocket with a lot more decisiveness than Bean did, just comparing QB to QB. And apparently he's only a Freshman.

Not trying to hate on Bean, but he showed off his happy feat(it was late sue me) feet once again. To be fair, Bean was basically KU's offense and that is on KU, not Bean. I think Bean got better as the game went on too. Interested to follow his KU journey.
