ESPN Matchup Predictor 2021 Season

Thought it was interesting that ESPN’s matchup predictor gives us a >50% chance to win in 9 of our 12 games. Most of those are pretty close margins, but I was surprised that whatever metrics ESPN is using seem to hold us pretty favorably.

They even gives us a 50.1% chance to beat Liberty and a 51.2% chance to beat UTSA, whereas it feels like most even on here are pretty much chalking those up as losses.

so many 50/50 games. You'd think folks had no idea what this team was this year.

Which none of us do either. Crazy to think we could have anywhere between 1 and 9 wins and still no one would be shocked.

Phil’s gotta come through.  Improve from last in football to not-last and I bet the Mean Green win more than they lose.
