I hope the Green Brigade & HS bands will get to spend some of their pre-game performance time inside the Lovelace*McNatt Indoor Practice Facility.  It’s going to be hotter than hell for those kids.😨
••• I am duly impressed that 15 area High School bands will be at this early season UNT Band Day, too.  Most college Band Days are scheduled the cooler part of the Fall.  

•••If the GB are (in deed) wearing their new unis’ tomorrow night that alone will be worth a “standing ovation” from the Mean Green Nation because of the expected heat at kick-off. 

•••Here’s hoping Northwestern St. brings their fine marching band—the more the merrier?  They were great last time we played them at Fouts Field.

That's great.  Had not heard that they would all get to play.  Good for them.  Should help attendance as well.

UPDATE:  Just read a Green Brigade update & it said they will now have more than 20 HS Bands tomorrow evening.

 If each band has 100 members that would add a sizable number to the home season opener.  I think I saw somewhere that the HS bands will all sit in the end zone (but I stand to be corrected).
