They are improving but NMSU is making them look good.

Yeah I just saw that.  Pretty weird looking all bunched up but they did get the 1st down.  Also looks like our old 0line coach under McCarney is there.

UTEP's Oline has not impressed me. Multiple big hits on UTEP's QB by an anemic NMSU defense. If our defense has improved, that is a good sign.

Otherwise UTEP's offense does look improved though.  Hardison can make good, accurate passes if unpressured . UTEP's defense looks solid as well.

Also announcer just said Wadley isn't playing, so hard to tell how good their run game will be based on this game alone.
