Is UNT passing up FLA schools in recruiting?

Should we (UNT/UTSA) be commended for passing the Florida schools in talent, or has there been some kind of dip in Florida talent lately?  I like to think it's the former , and speaks about the increased volume of talent at the top of CUSA.

It wasn't long ago with Mc, I was just hoping to be in the middle of the pack and break a 100 nationally! Now let's win a few more games than expected. Congrats to all, this is Awesome.

Yeah, but I was really thinking about what this paper champ stuff might imply: what does us and UTSA passing the Florida schools mean? Has the talent in FL been subpar? Did the Florida schools get new coaches that just aren't as good on the recruiting trail?  I know Kiffin was an exceptional salesman and now he's in the SEC.

We have definitely done our part to wear these paper crowns 😉 Just trying to gain a little insight into what is going on over in FL.
